My Approach

Clients describe me as dedicated and trustworthy, authentic and honest, open-minded and affirming, present and insightful, knowledgeable and resourceful.

My clinical approach is informed by anti-oppressive practices, harm-reduction principles, and disability justice principles. I work within social justice and systems theories, and am influenced by humanistic theory, somatics, and relational theory.  I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I use a client-centered approach to meet the needs, strengths, and circumstances of each person I work with. I believe that therapy can be an exceptional resource for support and an opportunity for healing, learning, growth, and empowerment - which everybody inherently deserves.

Experience and Education

I have been working in mental health care since 2019, mostly within community mental health and non-profit settings. I have experience working with individuals in re-entry (returning from incarceration/impacted by the justice system), individuals with chronic and/or terminal illnesses, survivors of sexual/domestic violence, individuals experiencing homelessness, and the LGBTQ+ community.

I received my Bachelors of Arts in both Psychology and Art from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018, and my Masters of Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles in 2024.

I am an Associate Clinical Social Worker who is registered in California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. My associate number is 123982. As an associate, I am practicing under the supervision of Ellie Lipton, LCSW107613.
