“I believe healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always deserved care, understanding, and belonging.”

About Me

Hi, I'm Claudia (she/her).

I believe that healing happens in relationship. Many of the ways we learned to protect ourselves—through people-pleasing, self-criticism, emotional distance, perfectionism, or caretaking—were developed in relationship with others. It makes sense, then, that relational wounds are often healed through relationship. Therapy offers the opportunity to experience something different: a space where you can be fully seen, understood, and accepted while discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I developed a deep appreciation for the ways our early relationships, unconscious patterns, and lived experiences continue to shape our lives. My work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy and informed by attachment theory, family systems, somatic awareness, and liberation-focused perspectives.

I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, substance use recovery, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and the complicated process of becoming more fully themselves. I have a particular passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients, people exploring body image and their relationship with food, and anyone seeking therapy that honors both their inner world and the world around them.

My Approach

I don't believe our struggles exist in isolation. The ways we move through the world are shaped not only by our families and early relationships, but also by the cultural, political, and social systems we live within. Experiences of oppression, identity, privilege, family expectations, gender, sexuality, race, body politics, and community all influence how we understand ourselves and what we believe is possible. I believe therapy should make room for all of it.

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and deeply curious. I strive to create a relationship where you feel safe enough to slow down, explore your inner world, and gently question the stories you've carried about yourself for years. Together, we'll look beneath the surface—not to pathologize you, but to understand you with greater compassion.

I believe healing isn't about becoming someone different. It's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always deserved care, understanding, and belonging. Whether we're exploring relationship patterns, repairing the impact of trauma, navigating questions of identity, or helping couples find new ways of connecting, my hope is that therapy becomes a place where insight is paired with lived experience—where old relational patterns can soften, new possibilities can emerge, and you leave feeling more authentic, connected, and at home in yourself.
